Through Silk Road to Kyrgyz culture

Day 1, Kashgar –Irkeshtam-Sary-Tash (240km)

In the morning we will start our way to Kyrgyzstan. The road will take about 6 hours. From Kashgar to the border of Kyrgyzstan there are two check points. Driver and tour guide will meet you Kyrgyz-Chinese border on the Irkeshtam pass. This mountain pass is situated on the 3005 meters above sea level. At the ancient time this place was used by traders of the Great Silk Road. All caravans were passing this place during more than 1500/ years! Now you also can drive along the same way and to enjoy the beauty of our untouched Nature. Night will be in local home stay in Sary Tash village, 90 km far from the border.

Day 2, Sary –Tash-Kyrkool (84km)

In the morning you will drive to another village Kyrkool. The road takes about 3 hours, on the way you will stop several times: on Taldyk Pass, here you will see beautiful scenery of nature and serpentine to down; at down you will see nomadic life of local people in yurts among the mountains with domestic animals. In Kyrkool village you will be at lunch time, for lunch you will have traditional meal of Kyrgyz people “Besh barmak” afternoon you will see master classes — felt making from the wool of sheep;

-chiy making

-wicker work

and you will do also by yourselves, stop one day

Day 3, Kyrkool-Gulcha-Osh

In the morning after breakfast you will go to the center of the region after two kms, will see the museum of Kurmanjan Datka-Queen of Alay valley in 19th century, then continue your way to Osh, lunch in Osh and city tour.

Day 4, Osh-Uzbekistan-Fergana

This morning you will drive to Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. From this place Uzbek part of the tour starts. It takes an hour from the city to the border.
